More updates.

I can't believe its been almost more than a month since my last post.

I just haven’t been interested in anything much to do with my computer for a while. Been too busy I guess.

I’ve started work again at my old job and its just like I never left.

Came back two weekends ago from a great trip to Paris with Tricky and my brother. We saw more of Paris than our previous two trips combined, thanks in part to Benza’s penchant for walking but also because our last two trips were under trying circumstances- the first, travel sickness (sick whilst travelling, I suspect I had pneumonia) and the second, travel sickness (sick OF travelling, we REALLY wanted to just unpack our stuff for more than a few days and were gagging to get to London).

Anyway, we had a great time. We stayed in the Montmartre area (great area to stay) near the Moulin Rouge and the Pigalle sex district (kind of like King’s Cross I suppose) and Montmartre itself is a hill in Paris with the most amazing residential areas and an artist’s market near the Sacre Couer church at the top. It was the most stereotypically French part of Paris I had seen, I think and I suppose because of this it was crawling with tourists. We wandered through TWO huge cemeteries in search of Jim Morrison’s gravestone (I don’t know why, I don’t consider myself a huge fan and when you really think about it, he was a bit of a wanker). We found it. We went to the top of the Arch De Triomphe which is a truly impressive war monument with spectacular night time views over Paris. We visited the Picasso Museum which was excellent, and the Pantheon, which was.. erm.. big. We searched in vain for some really good French food, but found some really bad French food and some really good Indian food. We also endured a waiter’s rudeness when we confirmed that, yes, we were Philistine’s and that we really would like our coffee before our meal, not after, if its not to much trouble thankyou (at least that’s what I would have said had I known any French). And Tricky found some really cool Patrick trainers for €30 each.

Unfortunately, my photos from this trip seem to have disappeared from storage, never to be seen again. Ah, well, excuse enough for a fourth trip. And Benza got some good ones I think. I may persuade him to let me use some

Speaking of photos, and I know I’ve said this before, but I really should have some more up soon.

I’m sure there’s more to tell but I’ve lost interest again so, until next time, BYE.

WHY is Jim Morrison buried in Paris?  Wasn’t he American?

Hello Cath. How’s little Timmy? We saw photos and he looks so much like a Griffo!

Jim Morrison was American yeah but he lived in Paris for just a few months before he died (1971) and supposedly wished to be buried in the P?re Lachaise Cemetery.

Little Timmy looks a lot like big Timmy.  I’m not sure WHY since I don’t think I look much like a Griffo, but the genes must be in there somewhere!

mmm…yep..thanks Tricky. Spunk meaning an altogether different thing to our UK readers than to those in our homeland. But, if he looks like me, then he must be a very cute baby indeed.

At least that what spunk can become if its left to its own devices.  Cheesy like my pizza.

Speaking of pizza, these comments are putting me off my dinner. I’ve just noticed these last two comments are attributed to Tricky when they are in fact Tim. Me Me ME!
